The frame and concealed cistern carry a wall-hung WC. A painted steel frame is rated to around 400 kg and fixes to both floor and wall. The concealed cistern must be insulated against condensation so it does not create damp inside the wall. Flush plates come in plastic or glass and can be changed without opening the wall. The most important thing is choosing a brand with available spares, because any repair inside a wall is expensive.
