Choosing Kitchen Sinks

A kitchen sink works harder than any other in the house. 304 stainless is the most common choice — rust-resistant, light and easy to clean — and a bowl 180 mm deep or more takes large pots. Sound damping underneath noticeably reduces the drumming of running water. Composite granite resists scratching and high heat and looks quieter, but is heavier and needs a worktop that can carry it.
